Youth Art Project
2nd Anniversary Celebration

On July 8, 2004, the Rays of Light Youth Art Project presented its work to the community of Tierra Blanca. The youths' new exhibit demostrates their advances over the last two years.

Special guests included Isabel Cristina Garcia (professional artist), Antonio Amaya (President, Mangrove Association), Salvador Padilla (Director, Mangrove Radio), Dr. Palacios, the Director of the Jiquilisco House of Culture, Fr. Pedro DeClerc, and a Police Representative.

Pedro Martinez, Oscar Chicas, Balbino Jimenz, and Caridad Bautista Garcia, all from Tierra Blanca, worked together on this painting.

Santos Medrano, from Tierra Blanca, painted this work inspired by the cargo ships that come in go from nearby Puerto el Triunfo.
